The 2019 MobilePack list of packing shifts, frequently asked questions, and other helpful information.

  • Pack Details
    • We have promised to pack 909,090 meals – We need $200,000 and over 3,000 volunteers!
    • We will begin each shift in the sanctuary.
  • This year’s packing schedule – Registration will open at 8:00am on August 19, 2019.

FAQ

  • Where do I park?
    • There is plenty of parking in the church parking lot.  Training is held in the sanctuary so you will enter through the doors at the north (upper) section of the  parking lot. Just follow the signs on the east side of the church to our FMSC entrance.
  • Is there handicap parking?
    • Yes there are several handicap parking spots at the north end of the lot.
  • Is there an age limit for a packer?
    • Packers must be at least 5 years of age.
  • What time do I need to arrive to pack?
    • Arrive 1o minutes early so we have time to get you signed in.
  • What do I wear?
    • Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
    • No jewelry is allowed in the packing room so leave loose rings, necklaces, watches, earrings etc. at home.
  • What does it cost?
    • There is no cost to pack, however donations of $200,000 are needed to purchase the food for 2,490 children.  Each meal costs less than a quarter and each volunteer packs about $50 worth of food.  Please help.  To donate or to learn more go to mpstl.org
  • What if I don’t feel good the day of my shift?
    • Please stay home.  We will miss you but don’t want you around the food.
