 nOne of the great things about being Church together through the ELCA is t
 hat we get to catch a glimpse of what God is doing all around the world. E
 very synod within the ELCA has global companion synods\, fellow Lutheran c
 hurch bodies spanning the globe!\nGood Shepherd is a part of the Central S
 tate Synod\, and we partner with our Lutheran siblings in both Papua New G
 uinea and Russia. This fall\, we are blessed to have three leaders from ou
 r Russian companion synod visit us.\nA delegation representing our Compan
 ion Synod in Russia\, the Synod of the Urals\, Siberia and the Far East (E
 LSUSFE) will be visiting the Synod from September 18th until October 4th. 
 The delegation is made up of Bishop Alexander Scheiermann\, Missionary Bra
 dn Buerkle and Pastor Waldemar Rausch.\nBishop Scheiermann\, Missionary Bu
 erkle and Pastor Rausch will join us on Saturday\, September 26 during our
  5:00 Worship. As a part of our worship that evening\, they will share the
 ir stories with us. \nWe are grateful for their ministry and blessed to b
 e able to welcome them to Good Shepherd this fall!
