Good Shepherd Ministry Updates during Social Distancing

Through this time of social distancing the ministry of the Church continues. Much of our life together has paused or adapted, but we are still church together for the sake of the world and continue to care for, pray for, and serve people as Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, following the latest orders for health and safety, and will keep you updated along the way.

Feed My Starving Children –www.feedtheneedstl.orgFeed My Starving Children has made a profound difference in the worlds’ food insecurity. However, this year, due to the Pandemic, they have been unable to have MobilePacks most of the year. This has created a drastic loss of food for the children. They desperately need funding to pay for the mechanical packaging of food. Please consider donating here  or checks may written to Good Shepherd with FMSC in the check memo.

Need a new mask? Buy one from Feed My Starving Children here! For every mask sold, FMSC is donating a mask in Haiti. The mask you buy is handmade in the USA. The mask you donate is made in Haiti and creates jobs.

Wings/Love A Child is looking for volunteers to help pack food boxes, assemble boxes, or bag canned goods. The location is 3137 Jefferson Ave. Masks are required. Their goal is to pack 4,000 boxes per month. Contact Julie Patthoff @314-591-2528.
