Presentation of Robert Ray's "Gospel Mass"

The Gospel Mass Choir, soloists and instrumentalists are pleased to share the music of Robert Ray, this Saturday, August 15 at 5 pm and Sunday, August 16 at 11:00 am. Robert Ray (1946-2022) is a St. Louis African American composer who is a well-known educator and composer. He was the founding director of St. Louis Symphony’s IN UNISON Chorus. The Mass is a core structure for our Lutheran worship services. Some parts of the Mass are spoken and other parts are sung. The Gospel Mass Choir will be singing the Mass parts of worship.
