2027 ELCA Youth Gathering
Current 8th-12th graders, join us June 27-July 2 in Minneapolis for a week you'll never forget!

What is the Gathering? 

Every 3 years, 30,000 high school youth and adult leaders from across our denomination gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through their days of interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.

What to Expect in Minneapolis 

Through immersive and intentional experiences, young people will have opportunities to deepen their Christian identity, explore new possibilities, and engage with the world around them in powerful ways. 

Cost

Total is $1400 per person, but thanks to past fundraising, awesome congregational support, and other resources, the cost for each youth will only be $400!!  Cost includes registration, bus, hotel, tshirt, and most food.

Pre-Trip Gatherings

The team will meet a handful of times throughout the year to prepare for the trip with Bible study, learning about Minneapolis, planning, community building, etc.  Participants are also required to help with the pumpkin patch and trivia night fundraisers.

FLY High School Ministry

This ministry offers support and guidance for today’s youth amidst the pressures of everyday life. Central to our mission is the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we strive to grow, live, share and experience His power and grace.

We experience this through leadership in worship, Bible studies, fun events, mission trips, Praise Band, outreach projects, and many more opportunities.

 

FLY Wednesday Evenings

Our high schoolers meet from 5:45-7:30pm in the FLY Room on Wednesday nights.  (Dinner begins at 5:45pm.) We are a family that plays hard together, prays together, and studies Scripture together, trying to figure out how it relates to our every day lives.  Come find community here!
