Pastor Amy Stewart oversees the ministry of the first half of life at Good Shepherd, from birth through college outreach, walking with children, youth, and families on their faith journey. She guides and nurtures people with their spiritual development, individually and in community. She especially loves walking alongside folks who have big questions, doubts, and curiosity about faith, and feels called to pastor those who have been hurt by the institution of Church. She also feels most grounded outside, so she loves leading Wild Earth Church and using her skills as a certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide to help others come home to themselves in nature. Pastor Amy lives with her husband, two children, and a dog. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, playing board games, and cooking. She enjoys being a pastor here at Good Shepherd because of the welcome and authenticity of relationships here, as well as the expansive expressions of spirituality found among the people who come from all kinds of faith backgrounds.
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
