Lily’s bachelor’s degree in marine science and enthusiasm for all-things nature is a perfect fit in leading our Discovery Room and is an excellent co-teacher pairing to Ms. Jen in our Preschool Four classroom. Lily’s past teaching experience includes a wide age range from preschool through high school. Her science background will incorporate many opportunities for students, whether digging in dirt, carving pumpkins, cooking, or investigating a project with many hands-on activities. In Hawaii, Lily worked as a long-term elementary substitute teacher in the Maui school system, teaching various subjects and grade levels. Additionally, Lily has taught sailing throughout her life, sharing her passion for the sport. Lily and her husband have two children, both who attended Building Blocks; one in kindergarten and the other in second grade. When not at school, Lily enjoys spending quality time with her family & traveling.
